HIS celebrates another rare “perfect” score on Advanced Placement exam

Hsinchu International School is thrilled to once again be celebrating the achievements of a high school student in attaining a rare “perfect” score in the Advanced Placement® (AP®) exam. Grade 12 student Bumgyu Suh earned a perfect score on a college-level AP Exam in spring 2023.
Bumgyu was one of only three students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Calculus AB Exam and one of ninety-one students to earn every possible point on the AP Computer Science A Exam.
“AP courses and exams are college-level, requiring great focus and persistence among participating students,” said Trevor Packer, head of the Advanced Placement Program. “We applaud the educators who encourage students to challenge themselves, who motivate and encourage diverse students to achieve their academic potential.”
